Resolve Sleep has been transforming sleep health across Canada since 2005 by equipping clinics with the right tools to improve operations and help patients get the rest they need. As they expanded over the years, managing multiple clinic operations through Salesforce became increasingly complex, with over-customization, manual data handling, and underutilized licenses limiting scalability and ROI.
To continue growing efficiently, Resolve Sleep needed a clear picture of their current Salesforce environment, a roadmap to optimize it, and a strategy to ensure efficient, safe and scalable operations across all clinics.
The Challenge
Like many healthcare organizations scaling across multiple locations, Resolve Sleep had reached a point where their growing Salesforce environment presented significant complexity and inefficiencies. These included:
- Underutilized Capabilities: Unused Health Cloud licenses represent lost investment and foregone industry-specific capabilities. Organization relying on heavily customized Sales Cloud components, resulting in duplicated processes, manual workflows, and limited scalability.
- Process Complexity: Over 50 opportunity business line workflows with overlaps creating operational inefficiencies.
- Manual Workflows: Patient intake via fax re-entry and manual equipment reporting consuming valuable time and resources.
- Siloed Systems: Inventory in Microsoft Business Central not connected to Salesforce, limiting visibility.
- Over-Customized Permissions: 32 custom profiles, 160+ roles, and oversized permission sets creating governance challenges and increasing the risk of inconsistent access control.
- Technical Debt: Large undocumented flows, inefficient Apex code, and underutilized features hampering performance.
The Solution
We conducted a comprehensive Salesforce Health Cloud Assessment to evaluate Resolve Sleep's current environment to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance scalability, reduce operational complexity, and maximize the return on Salesforce investments.
Our assessment focused on five key areas:
- Data Model Alignment
