Who They Are
Our client provides connectivity solutions with teams in Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. They offer data plans using eSIM to help customers involved with the Internet of Things (IOT). Through the IOT, their customers work to keep objects connected to the internet. With this type of customer being our client’s primary focus, they stand out as attractive option among other large connectivity providers.
The Challenge
- Their US team had previously been let down by other CRM platform and found themselves in search of a more robust CRM.
- Their Japanese team was the first to employ Salesforce, then the US team piggybacked onto the same instance. Being on the one instance meant that US staff did not have sufficient autonomy or control over the instance.
The Solution
- A decision was made to take on a new Salesforce instance specifically for the United States team.
- Modelit took on the complex migration of Salesforce data from their Japan instance over to the new US instance — needing to sort through data to understand what belonged to each Salesforce instance.
- We built custom forecasting for which we needed to have a clear understanding of our client’s goal setting and forecasting processes in order to build a solution that met their needs.
- We set our client up with both Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud for their new Salesforce instance.
