It's meaningfully more than a chatbot. Traditional chatbots follow decision trees and break when the question is slightly unexpected. Agentforce reasons through customer requests, accesses your Salesforce data in real time, takes actions like updating cases or issuing refunds, and escalates to a human when it can't confidently resolve the issue.

How does Agentforce know when to hand off to a human agent?

You define the guardrails. Agentforce operates within parameters you set, including when to escalate, what actions it's allowed to take, and what it should never do without human approval.
